European Perch Fishing Guide
A schooling predator found across lakes and rivers in Europe, European perch are a distinct species from North American yellow perch. Unlike most low-light predators on this list, they're confident daytime sight-feeders and don't need dim conditions to feed well.
Best conditions
- Water temperature: 54–66°F is the sweet spot.
- Light: Comfortable feeding in bright sun.
- Wind: Handles light-to-moderate wind well.
